AVAP®

AVAP co-produces cellulose (pulp) and ethanol from biomass in an integrated biorefinery application.

Thinking of the future

We strive to do the best for the future. We are prominent in the cellulosic biorefinery field, and developed several technologies to produce cellulosic ethanol.

Fueling the future

We believe the right technology will depend on the local resources, therefore we continue to gather know-how in other energy fields in partnership with leading academic institutions.

AVAPCO is an American Process Company set up to commercialize our AVAP technology.

We envision the development of a sustainable global economy where “Sugar is the New Crude®”.

Depending on the source, 61-82% of biomass is composed of sugars. These sugars can be converted into hundreds of useful, everyday products currently being produced from crude oil such as transpiration fuels, plastics, textiles, and pharmaceuticals. While crude oil is a limited, non-renewable resource, biomass is abundant and renewable.

AVAPCO

American Process is positioned at the forefront of the emerging bioeconomy where “Sugar is The New Crude®.
